The Bayliner 3587 Motor Yacht appears to be a relatively straightforward 35-foot aft-cabin design but is drastically different from her small sister styles. Looks can be deceiving because this 3587 provides three staterooms, THAT'S RIGHT THREE, where her competitors offered only two. The third stateroom is located beneath the (elevated) dinette, and while it’s not really a full-size cabin, there is a roomy double berth and partial standing headroom along with a privacy door and a large hanging locker. To accomplish this innovative floorplan, Bayliner engineers moved the galley up into the salon offering a same level floor plan. If the salon dimensions seem limited, the owner’s aft cabin is surprisingly comfortable and includes a walkaround double berth, vanity, and a private head with separate stall shower and ample storage. Additional features include a molded bow pulpit, standard lower helm, teak interior trim, and swim platform. She features twin 7.4L Mercruisers.
